League action returns on Tuesday, December 15 with four fixtures scheduled and will see both Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns in action.

The Brazilians, who are still mourning the tragic death of defender Motjeka Madisha, are set to host TS Galaxy without the services of co-coach Manqoba Mngqithi at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria.

Mnqithi was sent off during their 1-1 draw with Maritzburg United 10 days ago and will also miss their next fixture against Golden Arrows on Saturday.

A struggling Kaizer Chiefs side will be in action against SuperSport United at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium.

Amakhosi won’t have to face DStv Premiership Goal of the Month winner, midfielder Teboho Mokoena, after he picked up his fourth yellow card of the season in their 2-1 win over Maritzburg United in late November.

Maritzburg United will be without Keagan Buchanan for their clash against Swallows FC.

Tuesday’s final fixture, the Cape derby between Stellenbosch FC and Cape Town City at the Danie Craven Stadium, will see both sides at full strength.

LEHLOHONOLO MAJORO WILL MISS BENNI MCCARTHY’S DEBUT

Fast-forwarding to Wednesday, December 16, Ronald Pfumbidzai, who was sent off in the MTN 8 final defeat to Orlando Pirates on Saturday, will miss Bloemfontein Celtic’s home match against Baroka FC.

Meshack Maphangule will be absent in Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila’s clash against Black Leopards, while Mduduzi Sibeko will miss Chippa United’s trip to Orlando Pirates.

In the final suspension, Lehlohonolo Majoro will be absent from Benni McCarthy’s first match in charge of AmaZulu against KwaZulu-Natal rivals Golden Arrows.
