Rachel Kolisi, wife of Springbok skipper Siya, has tested positive for Covid-19.
RACHEL KOLISI POSTED HEART-FELT MESSAGE
Rachel took to Instagram on Sunday to post a heart-felt message describing not only her symptoms, but asking everyone to take extra precaution with the virus currently in its ‘second wave’ around the country.
In addition, Rachel made special mention of the health care workers working tirelessly in the fight against the virus.
She also drew attention to the current number of active cases in South Africa which are spiralling out of control and rapidly closing in on the one million mark.
Mother of four, Rachel is co-founder of the Siya Kolisi Foundation which is committed to changing the narrative of inequality for people in vulnerable and disadvantaged communities in South Africa.
Earlier it was confirmed that Siya Kolisi, who pulled out of Western Province’s Currie Cup clash against Griquas on Saturday, would also miss next weekend’s showdown with the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein after he had contact with a person with Covid-19.
