Second half goals from Bradley Grobler (59th minute) and Sipho Mbule (67th minute) were enough to give Matsatsantsa the three points and move them level on points with Mamelodi Sundowns and Swallows FC.
All three clubs have played 13 matches.
Thanks to their superior goal difference, Mamelodi Sundowns remain top, while SuperSport United are now second, with Swallows FC in third.
For TTM, however, it was another bad day at the office and the defeat saw them remain rooted to the bottom of the standings.
SuperSport United will next be in action in what promises to be a mouth-watering clash against Swallows FC on Saturday, 30 January at 17:00, after which they will coincidently face TTM again, but this time in the Nedbank Round of 32 on Wednesday, 3 February.
Meanwhile, in Sunday, 24 January’s only other match, Cape Town City ended Golden Arrows’ unbeaten run in this season’s DStv Premiership with a 4-2 win at the Cape Town Stadium.
