Orlando Pirates will face off against Jwaneng Galaxy in the CAF Confederation Cup playoffs after the draw took place on Friday in Cairo, Egypt.

The Buccaneers were given a free pass into the playoffs were drawn to face the Botswana Premier League champions who had dropped out of the CAF Champions League.
That was after they were hammered 5-1 on aggregate by another South African side, Mamelodi Sundowns.
The Brazilians inflicted a 2-0 (away) and 3-1 (home) defeat of Jwaneng Galaxy over the two legs of their CAF Champions League first round tie.
ORLANDO PIRATES BIDDING FOR A LAST 16 SPOT
Jwaneng Galaxy who will now face off against Pirates for a spot among the final 16 clubs who will then be drawn into four groups.
Meanwhile, Bloemfontein Celtic’s first round clash against Nigerian side Rivers United is yet to be decided.
Siwelele were beaten 2-0 at home, but didn’t travel to Nigeria for the return leg for due to the required Covid-19 protocols. They are awaiting a decision by CAF as to how the tie will be decided.
Whoever emerges from that tie will face Enyimba in the next round.
