The former Mamelodi Sundowns mentor had tested positive a fortnight ago for the coronavirus and was recently hospitalised.

However, ‘Jingles’ confirmed on social media on Boxing Day that the “virus is out of his system”.
Pitso Mosimane went on to “thank everybody for their love and support”.

Mosimane recently won the award for most successful coach in Egypt for his record-breaking exploits this season at the helm of Al Ahly, guiding them to the Egyptian Premier League title – their 42nd success – as well as the Egypt Cup (for the 37th time).
The ‘big fish’ was then landed as Mosimane helped Al Ahly to the CAF Champions League title for a record-extended ninth occasion.
