Team news

Kaizer Chiefs are sweating over the availabilty of defenders Erick Mathoho and Kgotso Moleko ,who both came out injured during the 1-0 victory against Chippa United on Wednesday.

Another player who did not play the full 90 minutes due to an injury concern was midfielder Lebogang Manyama, who was withdrawn as a precautionary measure after coming into the fixture injured.

Chiefs are also without goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi, but will not sweat his absence too much, thanks to the undeniable ability of long-time number one option, Itumeleng Khune.

For Baroka, it is a fight for survival, as defeat could banish them to the PSL playoffs in the offseason, where they would be fighting to restore their status as a top-flight team.
