Percy Tau had a hand in both Anderlecht goals as they beat Cercle Brugge 2-0 in a Belgian Pro League fixture at Constant Vanden Stock Stadium on Sunday.
Manager Vincent Kompany handed the former Mamelodi Sundowns star – now on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion – a second consecutive start after his goal-scoring run-on debut.

Percy Tau stars for Anderlecht
There were no goals from his boot this time around, but the 26-year-old played a pivotal role in maintaining his new side’s unbeaten run in the league.
Tau was fouled inside the box just after the half-hour mark, winning a penalty which was converted by Lukas Nmecha to put the Purple and White ahead.
The second goal came via another set-piece, with the South African winning a free-kick, with Panamian winger Michael Murillo putting the ball in the back of the net.

Belgian fairytale
Tau’s move to Anderlecht was his third loan spell in the country since joining Brighton from Sundowns.
The Bafana playmaker began life in Europe playing in the second tier of Belgian football in the colours of Royal Union Saint Gilloise, where he ended the season as the league’s player of the season.
He next turned out for Club Brugge, and realised his dream of playing in the Uefa Champions League in what was a short run among Europe’s elite for the club, who were grouped alongside the likes of powerhouse, Real Madrid.
Having scored on debut for both his previous clubs in Belgium, he repeated the feat in the colours of Anderlecht, before marking his first start for the club with another goal.
In just four league appearances for the Purple and White, Tau has scored twice, and will be looking to better his debut season in the Pro League.
