The Knights and the Lions pulled away considerably from their opponents on the second day of Round Two of the CSA 4-Day Series, while the Titans were slightly ahead of the Warriors.

Knights vs Dolphins at Mangaung Oval

The Knights skittled out the Dolphins for 162, with seamers Alfred Mothoa and Migael Pretorius taking four and three wickets apiece.
The hosts resumed their innings on 323-7 after former SA Under-19 star Raynard van Tonder brought up three figures.
The 22-year-old was dismissed for a well-played 166, and the visitors’ first innings lasted less than 45 overs with Ruan de Swart top-scoring with 46 off just 54.
Lions vs Cobras at The Wanderers
Cobras: 115
Lions: 222-7
A patient 87 from opener Dominic Hendricks guided the Lions to a 107-run lead over the Cobras at a rainy Wanderers. This was after his namesake, Beuran Hendricks ran through the men from the Cape to grab impressive figures of 7-29.
There were starts in the Lions batting line-up, with captain Temba Bavuma and wicketkeeper Ryan Rickelton both falling in the 30s, but only Hendricks was able to kick on.
Warriors vs Titans at St George’s Park
Warriors: 231
Titans: 151-3
In the day’s other match, the Titans crept closer to the Warriors’ first-innings total of 231, finishing the day 80 runs behind with seven wickets in hand.
Proteas batsman Heinrich Klaasen will resume his innings on the third day unbeaten on 50 along with Sibonelo Makhanya, who will return to the crease on 12.
Earlier, Test opener Dean Elgar reached his third score of 50 and above in as many innings, and was dismissed for 66.
