Siya Kolisi congratulates Lewis Hamilton on tying Michael Schumacher’s record

Springbok 2019 Rugby World Cup-winning skipper Siya Kolisi has congratulated Lewis Hamilton on his record-equaling seventh Formula One drivers’ title.

Hamilton won the Turkish Grand Prix on Sunday in testing conditions to tie former F1 star Michael Schumacher for the most F1 titles won.

The win was Hamilton’s 94th in his illustrious career. He passed Schumacher’s then-record 91-win mark earlier in the season.

Kolisi and Hamilton met at this year’s Laurus World Sports Awards in Berlin.

Kolisi took to his Instagram page to pay tribute to Hamilton – even referencing his Bulldog, Roscoe – writing: @lewishamilton congrats for everything you’ve achieved so far, brother. Thanks for a being a great example and a great human!
