Pitso Mosimane has scooped the award for most successful coach in Egypt for his record-breaking exploits this season at the helm of Al Ahly.
Despite only joining in recent months from Mamelodi Sundowns, Mosimane has made an immediate impact.
‘Jingles’ guided Al Ahly to the Egyptian Premier League title – their 42nd success – as well as the Egypt Cup (for the 37th time).
Mosimane then landed the CAF Champions League title for a record-extended ninth occasion.
Mosimane tested positive for Covid-19 last week and is currently in hospital.
PITSO MOSIMANE HAS KEPT BUSY IN HOSPITAL
It looks like he’s kept himself occupied though, judging from his social media account.
In his absence, Cavin Johnson has taken care of Al Ahly who have continued where they left off last season, currently topping the log this season after two matches.
They also got the defence of their CAF Champions League off to a perfect start with victory in their Last 32 first leg match in midweek.
Mosimane did have a visitor on Christmas morning, not Santa, but rather his wife who dropped off a red shirt.
Get better soon, Pitso.
