The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has confirmed the necessary changes for several upcoming DStv Premiership fixtures after the recent Covid-19 curfew changes were announced.

CURFEW STATES SPORTING VENUES NEED TO SHUT AT 20:00

In response to President Cyril Ramaphosa’s address in which the country moved back to Level 3 restrictions due to the rising infections and the reported new variant of the coronavirus, the PSL has fallen in line.

With all venues for professional sporting events needing to shut by 20:00, the late midweek clashes’ kick-off times have now been brought forward.

Due to the curfew, all five midweek fixtures will now kick off at 17:00 instead of the previously altered 19:00 schedule in order to complete the matches before the national curfew.
