Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs continued on their winning ways with victory over Tsakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila at the FNB Stadium on Tuesday.

Kaizer Chiefs took an early lead in the DStv Premiership clash through midfielder Nkosingiphile Ngcobo who opening the scoring in the 19th minute.

Kaizer Chiefs then doubled their lead in the 66th minute thanks to midfielder Lebogang Manyama.

CHIEFS COMPLETED THE ROUT IN THE FINAL MINUTE

Gavin Hunt’s men completed their 3-0 rout with a final goal in the 90th minute by defender Happy Mashiane against a TTM side who by that stage had been reduced to 10 men followed a red card shown to Alfred Ndengane.

With their victory, Chiefs moved up to seventh in the overall standings, albeit having played one more match than the majority of the other teams in the league.

Meanwhile, TTM appear to have a real battle on their hands to avoid relegation. They are in 15th place in the log with just TS Galaxy below them.

CHIEFS NEXT IN ACTION AGAINST STELLENBOSCH FC

Kaizer Chiefs will look to make it FOUR wins in a row when they travel to the Danie Craven Stadium to play Stellenbosch FC in their next DStv Premiership clash on Saturday, 23 January.

Kick-off is at 17:00.
