World No 1 Dustin Johnson won the Covid-19 delayed 84th Masters at Augusta National on Sunday.
Johnson started the day with a four-shot lead and wound up winning by five strokes after signing for a final-round 4-under, 68.
It was Johnson’s 24th PGA Tour victory, tying South African Gary Player’s mark.
It was also Johnson’s first Masters win and his second Grand Slam victory after the US Open in 2016.
Johnson’s final score of 20-under 268 set a new Masters record.
Dylan Frittelli was South Africa’s top finisher in a tie for fifth on 11-under par. His performance earned him an automatic entry in next April’s Masters tournament.
