Proteas seamer Kagiso Rabada has been medically cleared of the right adductor muscle strain injury which saw him ruled out of the One-Day International series against England last month.
As a result, he will join the Test squad, which is currently playing Monday’s Day 3 of the first Test against Sri Lanka.
KAGISO RABADA WILL ENTER THE BIO-SECURE ENVIRONMENT
The 25-year-old has successfully gone through all the Covid-19 and pre-Bio-Secure Environment (BSE) entry protocols and is expected to enter the BSE on Monday afternoon.
Rabada will be available for selection for the second and final Test against Sri Lanka at the Wanderers from January 3-7, 2021.
The Wanderers is Rabada’s home ground.
