Percy Tau has thanked Brighton and Hove Albion fans for their welcome after returning to the English Premier League club this week.

The Bafana Bafana star striker was recalled to the Seagulls’ squad after finally acquiring a work-permit to be registered with the English top-flight outfit having first signed with the club in mid-2018.

After much fanfare and support from both South Africa and abroad, Percy Tau has responded.

“Hi Brighton fans, thanks for the welcome, I can’t wait to start playing for this great club,” he said in a short message on their social media channels.
The 26-year-old also thanked Belgium side Anderlecht for his six-month loan spell and claimed it was a ‘privilege’ to play for the Jupiler Pro League giants.
Meanwhile, Tau looks set to make his Albion debut on Sunday when they face League Two side Newport County in the FA Cup third round.
